In order to discuss the annual report of the Advocacy Board on freedom and journalists’ rights, members of the Board and the Council of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate held a meeting.
On Wednesday, dated January 7, 2026, under the supervision of Azad Hamadamin, President of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, the Syndicate Council and the Advocacy Board on freedom and journalists’ rights convened.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the report documenting violations committed against journalists and media institutions during the year 2025.
In another part of the meeting, the Syndicate Council discussed this year’s work plan, after which it approved the prepared report documenting violations for publication.
