A conference was held today, October 23, 2025, in Erbil, at the headquarters of the International Organizations Coordination Office, to discuss the results of implementing the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Human Rights Plan (2021-2025). Representatives from United Nations organizations, the federal government, and relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Region participated.
The President of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate also participated, as a media representative, in the second session titled “Ensuring and Promoting the Right to Freedom, Security, and Justice.” She presented a working paper titled “The Journalists Syndicate’s Precedent in the Field of Legal Protection and the Challenges Facing the Journalism Profession in the Next Parliamentary Session.”
